My name is Emily and I am 18 years old, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ to a Mexican-American family. I am a first-gen high school grad and a current first-year Honors student. I've been changing diapers since I was 7 years old, taking care of young ones ranging from 1 years old to even those just a few years younger than me! I am very active and enjoy physical activities. I've played almost every sport one can think of throughout the years but now I just stick to the gym. I love music, art, and going out on "adventures" lol. Having a healthy mind and body is extremely important to me so I try to radiate that energy with any little ones that I spend time with. I value respect, honesty and having fun! I believe that even the "boring" or "inconvenient" tasks can be turned into something more Read more positive. I take pride in any work that I do and hope to find families that I can become an extension of, as taking care of a child is much more than just a job! I was recently full-time with a family consisting on mom and dad and two baby girls, ages 1 and 3, but unfortunately had to leave due to distance and my current school schedule. I was with them for about half a year and loved it! The girls loved me and I was able to grow a bond with them individually. I also took a Early Childhood-Education class in high school and currently looking into getting my CPR Certification.
