Hello! It's so nice to meet you, my name is Odalys and I am a secondary education student at South Mountain Community College. Thank you so much for your consideration, I will do my best to meet your families needs. To start with I am the oldest of 4 and, as you may have guessed, have been the primary choice as a babysitter for my family, and caring for the children of family friends. I have been around children from their infancy to adolescence, in other words, I have seen a lot of them grow into bright young adults or bright young miniature adults. My passions include baking, cooking, traveling, education, and most importantly family. Stemming from my love of science and my sweet tooth, I have been experimenting with new recipes and trying out other cultural delights. I also mentioned education, which to some may be odd, but I do love learning and teaching. Currently, I am independently studying Montessori style education. It is mindblowing that traditional schools have not incorporated it more prominently. My main goal is to help inspire and empower children to know that they can grow to be anything they set their minds to and pursue a bright future. That is the main reason why I am working towards becoming a teacher. Other areas I can help with include tutoring, school transportation, infant care, meal prep, and cleaning. Most importantly, I am here to help you in any way possible including flexible scheduling and even pay. I am currently looking for a full-time position, doing something I enjoy like helping kids learn and grow. I am also First Aid and CPR certified.
