My name is Veronica Avelar, and I have been caring for children my whole life, specifically infants and preschoolers. I come from a large Hispanic household and I'm usually the one the family calls to help when a baby is born, from caring for the other children, to helping new mommies adjust, and even taking care of household chores and running errands. Not only do I have personal experience, I have also worked for Ma'am Childcare and Preschool as well as working for the City of Phoenix as a lifeguard/swim instructor, for 4 years. During those 4 years I was in charge of developing lessons plans to help the children achieve different milestones and goals, as while as working with children as young as a couple months old to senior citizens. I do have a CPR and First Aid certification that are currently up to date.
