I started 12 years ago when the pastor of the children's ministry asked me to work with the special needs children on Sunday mornings. About a year later, I was given the position of the 2nd grade Sunday school teacher. I was still doing that until August of 2016. I also took care of a set of triplets for a short time when I was 18. After that I started working with a 3-year-old and his 2 male baby cousins ages 3 months and 2 years old. I always tried to do some sort of reading or crafts with the boys. We could not do too much rigorous stuff because the 2-year-old was disabled. I love working with children. I am the type of person who loves doing crafts and helping children learn in fun new ways. I understand that for some new parents or parents who are going back Read more to work for the first time in years, it can be nerve-wracking. I was the same way when I went back to work after having my own baby. The sitter that I used would send pictures of my baby throughout the day so I knew that she was having a good time. I would love to do this for others. You may not get this service from other providers.
