Hi! If your looking at this you must be interested in me. To be up front I am not a very experienced babysitter but it is a learning process as is any job out there. I do not have cpr training. I do have a fair knowledge of asthma and sickness related issues due to growing up with asthma and I use to get sick often as a kid. I would prefer not to work with babies or non potty trained children. I am sorry but I'm not good with poop, human or animal. I might try it due to me wanting kids in the future but chances are I'll gag alot because of the smell. I might puke I don't know. I am a very crafty/science experiment friendly person and if you give me the supplies or extra money for supplies I will happily do them with your child(ren). Read more I also love the outdoors (hiking, camping, fishing, swimming) and believe it's important to learn common sense and street smarts such as what things you should stay away from here in the desert and what you should look out for (snakes, spiders, scorpions, bobcats)(how to cross the road, how to swim, stranger danger). I worked retail for 7 years while attending college. I am enrolled at NAU but currently not registered into any classes. I was working on my BS in Parks and Recreation Management. I am debating on whether I want to continue with that degree on not but I didn't come all this way for nothing I definitely want to get my BA. I grew up until the age of 13 at babysitters due to my mom being a single mother so I know what it's like to have someone whom you don't know well watching you and I'd like to give a better experience to the child(ren) who I watch. I unfortunately can only babysit at your house because my house is not child friendly(construction related). I feel your child(ren) would probably be more comfortable around their own toys and atmosphere as I rarely got that opportunity growing up and going to a strangers house was very odd for me. I do not have a set preference for the age of child to watch or help. I will definitely help with homework as much as I can. I had a hard time learning as a kid so I know how to break down things into simpler terms. Upon arrival (if you pick me) I would like know any rules that are set for the child(ren) because I know some children like to test their limits with others especially if they're new. If you have any questions for me I'll happily answer them.
