I am 28 years old, born and raised in Southern California for 18 years. I moved to Arizona and stayed there for 7 years in which I received my Associate Degrees, worked, and traveled. I lived in England for 18 months to obtain my doula certification and gain an understanding of how being a doula in Europe compares to being a doula in the United States. I hope to be able to apply the teachings I learn here to many moms in the future; I received the certificate October 2018. I was an Au Pair in England for three families and a family in Spain. I was also a nanny for many different families in Arizona. Overall, I have cared for dozens of children and I can provide numerous references (: I love to travel, explore and learn. In my free time, I enjoy going to the parks, the beach, Read more museums, or travel to different places. I love to read, take a course, or binge watch a good show. I have a good balance of staying home and being a homebody or being outdoors and going hiking. I also love art and doing art with children; I can show the numerous projects I've done. I also like cooking and baking though I can't say I'm incredible at it but it is fun and children love it. I backpacked through Europe in February 2018 where I visited 15 Countries in 34 days. It was definitely quite the adventure. I am quiet but outgoing when I'm comfortable, respectful always, and absolutely love children. I will love them like my own. I have experience with a variety of children including: newborns to children age 12, twin newborns to twins age 3, children with ADHD, children with Autism, children with different physical attributes. I have taken care of babies in the NICU volunteering as a baby cuddler. I have worked with as many as 10 children at a time for family events. I have done overnights, school runs & pick ups, assisted with homework, cooked, clean. I have worked in a Montessori classroom setting. I have several certificates in regards to children such as Child Nutrition & Cooking, Everyday Parenting, Understanding Child Development, and Children Acquiring Literacy Naturally.
