Hello! My name is Julie Bailey and I would love to be your family nanny. I have spent the past ten years teaching fourth grade, and love working with children and partnering with families. Prior to teaching I worked in a variety of early childcare settings and received a B.S. in Early Childhood & Kindergarten Education from Penn State. After I got married I was a full time nanny for two years and provided loving care to a little one from the time he was 6 weeks old until after he turned 2 years old. I loved the relationships I built with the whole family as I supported them by caring for their child. Then I became a mom and cared for my own three children at home from the time they were born until they were all in school. I love kids! I enjoy providing loving care to my Read more charges and always look for opportunities to help them learn and grow throughout the day. I believe play is the work of childhood and reading age-appropriate books every day is essential for cognitive development and critical thinking. I enjoy using my creativity to do hands-on craft and art projects with kiddos. I also love getting them outside on walks and trips to playgrounds to develop their gross motor skills. I look forward to developing positive, nurturing relationships with your kiddos. I am happy to support and encourage them in any way I can, and would strive to be a blessing to your whole family. I am a self starter who enjoys being productive. I am flexible, creative, and hardworking. I like to make efficient use of my time. I would much rather be getting things done around the house than sitting wasting time on my phone. I am always on top of things and well organized. I enjoy running errands, and I am a good, careful driver with no accidents. I am First Aid/CPR certified and hold an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
