I have 12 years of professional experience:    5 years at Tina's Tiny Tots, Tucson, AZ.  Infant only daycare with 15 babies under 1 years old.  I started out just taking care of the babies (feeding, singing, reading, changing, walks), daily cleaning, food preparation to taking care of the administrative side of things.Reason for leaving:  Things were changing and I became a Corporate Travel Agent.    1 year at Creme de la Creme daycare in Atlanta, GA.  Teacher in infant class.Reason for leaving:  I was tired of seeing people work there just for a paycheck and really having no interest in the well-being of the children.  That's when I decided to check out being a Nanny.    2 1/2 years Nanny for Debbie Beacham.  She had boy/girl twins, I started when they were 6 weeks old until 2 1/2 years old.  All child related responsibilities of feeding, changing, bathing, development of minds. To assisting with speech Read more therapy, physical therapy.  Helping mom take them to gymboree classes, swim lessons, twins club meetings, dropping the children off at school.  Help in the planning of vacations, book tickets, family laundry, manage household contractors that would come in and housekeeping staff.Reason for leaving:  I got married and then pregnant.  We are still friends today.     2 years at Genesis Early Learning and Development Center.  Worked with infants to 12 year old.  During this time I ran the after-school program and the summer camp programs.Reason for leaving:  My daughter was then old enough for me to go back and be a nanny.    6 month Baby Nurse for Saiyah Smith.  She had a new infant boy that she needed help getting through the first few months.  I helped with the cord cleaning, showing her the basics of breastfeeding, cleaning the circumcision.  Just really taking some stress of being a new mom off of her.Reason for leaving:  Just a temporary position to get her going.     6 month Nanny for Alisia Sermons.  She had a baby boy that I would feed, read, sing, take for walks, development of the mind, baby laundry, keep kitchen clean and orderly.Reason for leaving:  She wanted more hours for the same price.  She opted to put him in daycare.  We still keep in contact.     7 month Nanny for Amber Devoss.  She has a baby boy that I enjoyed reading, singing, bathing, and getting down on the floor playing with.  I helped him develop his muscles to make that next developmental milestone.  We would go for walks to the park, outings, etc.  I also did baby laundry.Reason for leaving:  Their finances was getting a little to much to keep a nanny.  We are and will remain friends.My nanny experiences have been fortunately good ones.  I have always had families that treated me like family.  If we ever had any concerns, issues, or just wanted to make sure everything was alright we would communicate.  You just have to take a little time to pay attention to know when someone may not be having a great day and be able to step up and do a little extra and give them a little more space.  I love what I do.I am vegan, it's okay if you are not.  I'm very easy going and flexible.
