Hi! My name is Clara and I am an Arizona State Graduate with experience teaching, nannying, and babysitting children of all ages! A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Scottsdale, so I am an AZ native and I am practically an expert in the greater Phoenix area. A fun fact about me is that I absolutely love animals and my family has fostered over 200 orphaned kittens over the past 10+ years. I often have a hard time describing myself, so here are some unique tools you can use to learn a bit more about me! Here's a little bit about my experience in and my main approach to childcare: I have a love for working with kids! I love watching & helping them as they learn and grow and discover the world around them. I mainly have experience with younger kids (1. 5-3) as a preschool teacher, but I have nannied in the past for older children (9, 12) and babysat for children of all ages. As a nanny, I am someone who likes to encourage children to be the best that they can be. I also emphasize compassion and reasoning skills. I like to guide children through their experiences while still leaving room for them to explore & grow. I am organized, timely, and professional but I still place having fun as a number one priority! My experiences with caregiving have helped me know how to best communicate with children (both verbally and non-verbally), resolve any conflicts that arise, be very patient, help children learn through discovery rather than just being told, and have a strong understanding that every child is different and has personal needs that require specialized attention. I make sure to always set a strong and good example for the children and will always give my 100% because the fact is, every little thing matters when it comes to a child's future.
