To me, being a nanny is such a special and unique job. Instead of working in an office, I get to explore the world through kids' eyes and allow my creativity to flow! Ever since I was a little girl myself, I would line up all my dolls and for hours, I would "teach" them. Then, after graduating high school, I went to Arizona State University and studied Early Childhood Development with a focus in English. One of my very favorite classes I ever took was "Teaching Children to Read." In this class, I learned how to make reading fun and exciting again. While technology is amazing, I believe reading is such a special experience, and through using the right voices for the different characters, expressions on your face while reading, and even using props, the magic of reading can easily be brought back all over again! Other than reading, Read more I also enjoy making all different kinds of crafts and kid friendly experiments. How awesome is it to make your own play-doh, or make fantastic artwork from melting crayons in the sun?! I love using imagination to turn a normally dull situation into the adventure of a lifetime. I grew up as an only child, so I had to entertain myself somehow, afterall! The reason I love nannying as much as I do is because a growing mind is such an amazing gift, and I love being able to nurture with creativity, love, and safety. I have always been an extreme multi-tasker, so multiple kids is completely okay with me, as I have eyes in the back of my head so to speak! I am extremely attentive, and my job is my complete, one hundred percent, first priority. I have extensive experience babysitting as well as being a full time nanny, and will gladly provide you with references! I would like to thank you in advance for considering welcoming me into your family, and am looking forward to all of the creative, and fun times ahead.

Contacted Lindsay a few days before I needed a sitter and she said she would love to watch my girls. She asked for time which in my ad I had said dinner on Thursday the 26th for a couple of hours. I then asked her if we could meet the day before to see if everyone got along since she lives close. This is where I heard nothing back. I'm not going to leave my children with a complete stranger. I wanted to at least meet her before leaving my kids. I left my number for her and still heard nothing. After she said she would "love to watch my girls" I closed the job thinking I had my sitter. Well I had to take the kids to dinner with us. Thanks a lot Lindsay E. It was a romantic dinner. Not really.
