My name is Elli and I am 25 years old. I have been in the childcare/nanny field for over 7 years now. Childcare experience- While going to school in 2008 I became a full-time nanny for a family of 3 boys. I assisted with pick up from school, homework, crafts/activities, field-trips, extra curricular activities, and also assisted with house duties such as laundry, light cooking, cleaning, and organizing. I continued working with this family until 2012 when I graduated with my AAS in Early Childhood Education. A few months later I was offered a full-time position at a NAEYC accredited preschool (Bright Horizons-USAA). I began my work there in the Infant Room and then worked my way to a Primary Teaching position in the Preschool unit where I ran my own classroom which included job responsibilities such as, building lesson plans, using intentional teaching practices, purposefully-designing learning environments, observing and Read more documenting each child's learning and development, and much more. I am back to school full-time now pursuing a second degree in Speech Language Pathology. Trainings- I am trained through a NAEYC accredited program through Paradise Valley Comm. Coll. as well as worked in a NAEYC accredited preschool for over 2 years.
