I've been working with children on and off for over 20 years. Currently working with adults who are so much less charming when having tantrums than children. I'm ready to go back to babies! I am a long time advocate of gentle parenting and positive discipline and working through a child's strength rather than focusing on the faults. I am very active and a firm believer in having a very strong rhythm to the day balancing active outdoor time with quiet indoor play. This alone eliminates the majority of meltdowns. I have taught children's yoga and worked as a preschool teacher while my own children were of that age. They are now very lovely teenagers who still like to hang out with their mom. But I've noticed myself missing the young years and find myself ogling babies in grocery stores more and more. Not in a creepy way, just in Read more a yummy, I want to snuggle you way. I have a song for every season, every activity and every occasion. I am a master at including children in daily chores and meal prep and clean up. It's all about the song...'we cut off the bottom and we cut off the top, what we have left we throw in the pot.'. Healthy kid meals are a staple in my repertoire and am a real food advocate. I am happy to plant or tend a garden with your children. And adhering to special diet plans is not a problem. If your child is on the spectrum and you are doing SCD or GAPS, it is not a problem. I can ferment, navigate a label, calculate a carb and make bone broth without missing a beat. I have a BA in Child Development and a current fingerprint card. CPR is expired but am willing to update and have passed the test previously at least 15 times. Looking forward to meeting in person.
