I am writing to express my interest in the position of Educated. I understand from the advertisement that the family is seeking an experienced, qualified, and proactive nanny for their three out of four children. I am confident that I meet all of the listed requirements and I believe that I am the most favorable candidate for this position. As my attached resume shows, I have extensive experience with children of all ages. I have 6 years of experience working as an aupair/live-in nanny from 2007 until 2013. During that time, I cared for children as young as newborn to thirteen years’ old. I worked as a habilitation therapist and I have training with children who have behavioral issues and those who are on the autism spectrum. In addition, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and I am currently doing in home health care. I am Read more a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant/Speech therapist in Phoenix, Arizona and I work mostly with the special needs population. I facilitate and administer therapy to my 18 clients working on the targeted goals created by the Speech Language Pathologist. All my previous employers, including the families of my current clients, are happy with my work and have often complemented me on my expertise in taking care of young children. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. I am CPR and First Aid certified and take the safety of those in my care very seriously. I work well with other people and due to my friendly, gentle and caring nature, I will be a great addition to your family.
