Meet Moriah

I am a twenty- year old female with experience in caregiving for over two years now. I am looking for a nanny position to make an impact on children’s lives, and to utilize my drive for thinking outside the box. As a young adult, I have spent the past few years building a great foundation in caregiving and teaching to enhance my love of working with children. Even though I have spent a lot of time with people with developmental disabilities, it has taught me great patience and understanding in human interaction. I am professionally trained in de-escalating all types of behavior and a variety of levels of communication. My experience is in helping others emotionally regulate and walking them through big feelings. It helps immensely with toddlers and young children who are learning to cope with theirs. As a camp counselor and respite provider, I did arts and crafts on a daily basis, ensured safety while allowing room for curiosity, and ran fun activities outdoors to keep campers/clients active. I love going for walks, playing soccer, going to the park, going swimming, and going on adventures. Ensuring I always have an activity in my arsenal to do.
