Hey there! My name is Genice. I am 23 years old and am a proud wife and mother of two fur babies! Working with children is what I do! It takes a special kind of a person to genuinely enjoy helping and taking care of youth and I would argue that I happen to be one of those people. I have 8 years of experience with taking care of children. I have experience with newborns, toddlers and school aged children and even preteens and teenagers. My responsibilities included house cleaning, making and preparing snack/meals, help with homework and spending time with the children. As for my professional experience, I worked as a Teacher Aid at a preschool in Honolulu, Hawaii. My duties included providing children a safe and fun learning environment, being physically and emotionally available to tend to any of the children’s needs, making meals and snacks for the Read more children, helping the children develop and nurture their abilities.(physical, cognitive, musical, emotional, logical, etc.) I have 4 siblings, ages 10, 7, 4 and 2 that I have been very hands on with since they were born. With having such an age gap between my siblings and I, I was able to give my mother a huge helping hand with helping her out and nurturing my siblings. I always put the needs of any child that I watch first. Their minds, bodies and spirits need to be taken into account. I enjoy being active so you can expect plenty of time outside or indoors.
