Currently seeking part time opportunity. I am an experienced childcare provider and professional business woman. I began my love for childcare at the age of 10. Beginning with newborn family members and continuing on to be "THE" neighborhood babysitter. Ages ranging from newborn and up. Childcare is what I continued to do all through my High School years and what I began to pursue in college. As I married and had 2 children of my own, I became a stay at home mom. Continuing childcare in my home for others. I was active at my kids school volunteering in the classroom, library and sports. I was active as our church youth group director and nursery volunteer for 7+ years. Eventually moving on to be become a successful Salon Owner/Nail Technician and along with my Certified Executive Chef Husband we owned, operated and managed a successful restaurant before selling both businesses Read more and relocating to the Mt. Pleasant area in 2016. I now would like to continue my passion for kids. Helping families feel safe and confident that their babies are being left in a good, safe, positive environment with a caring, loving and nurturing caregiver. I am honest, dependable and playful. I am active and enjoy the outdoors. I believe in age appropriate reading, singing, creative play, outdoor activities, crafts and games. I love newborn and toddler snuggles! I am aware of the importance of a schedule for feedings, nap time and play time. Experienced with potty training. I believe in positive reinforcement and will apply your house rules as instructed. I am good with light cooking, healthy snacks, and baking. I will do light housekeeping as needed and clean up after the days activities. I will do drop offs and pickups for school age children and transport to activities. I am pet friendly and comfortable with your furry family members. I do have my own vehicle.
