I’m a 51 yr old mom of 2 beautiful teenagers. I take pride in my parenting skills and consider myself lucky to be a mom. They don’t need me as much as they used to, so I am available to offer help to families with my experience. I’m an excellent cook and home maker. I have an extensive collection of recipes from fun & child friendly to family pleasers. I’m also able to follow your recipes as required. I’m very comfortable in the kitchen. I also pride myself on being patient, kind and a good listener. Being a caregiver comes naturally to me. Experienced in all the fun stuff… diapering, potty training (I have tips & tricks!) & dealing with accidents. I have an awesome minivan that is perfect for errands or going to and from activities. I have helped my friend & neighbor over the years with his two Read more young boys. At times, he has asked me to help him with childcare for a few hours, as well as multiple overnight stays. I can provide him as a reference upon request. I have additional references as required. Some fun facts about myself… I’ve lived in 3 different countries. I speak a little French and a little Spanish. I played piano, saxophone & oboe, so if your child is musically inclined I’d be happy to spend time nurturing their interests. We have 2 cats that are furry and fun little clowns that run around my house ruining everything I own & I love them. I used to have dogs (labs & a ducktolling retriever) so I am comfortable with those furry friends as well.
