Early childhood education professional offering babysitting in my home. Bring your children to my home (any age) while you work. I have a variety of activities here for all ages depending on what the children want from age appropriate movies, video games, (electronic devices are during quiet time when the children are old enough not to take a nap, I don't use much screen time during the day) board games, toys (lincoln logs, tinker toys, train sets etc), art supplies, reading, puzzles, music etc. During the day I try to do story time, art (even for infants), outside time etc, but I can't always get to everything with baby nap schedules etc. I have play areas and things for infants as well. I started out babysitting at age 11 and continued through high school. After high school I was a nanny for three different families (experience with ages 2-12 years old) for a total of 6 years. I always knew I wanted to do something with children I just couldn't decide between the medical field or teaching. I decided to do early childhood education because I love watching children learn and wanted to be apart of that. I have taken college courses in early childhood development and have an associates degree. I have experience in both infant rooms (6 weeks to 18 months) and the preschool room (ages 3-4) at two different early childcare centers as a lead teacher working with curriculum and other duties.
