I began my career in Childcare in 2013, working in a preschool and after school program. In 2014 I took a position as a lead toddler teacher at a private preschool. Then in 2016, I began working for Bright Horizons in their infant program, working at two locations in California and then Washington. Due to the pandemic in March of 2020, I was furloughed by Bright Horizons. In September 2020 I began nannying full time. During my time at Bright Horizons I found my niche in working with infants. I love getting to be able to see their “firsts” and creating a unique bond with them as one of their first caregivers. I pride myself in building long standing relationships with families. I build this relationship by establishing trust and helping families feel at ease with a personable yet professional demeanor. In the infant room I was the sole caregiver Read more for 2-4 babies at one time. This environment required me to be focused, quick thinking and be able to prioritize needs. I can offer skills in all aspects of childcare beyond feedings and diapers. My background as a teacher has given me access to current practices in child development and creating a safe and caring environment for infants to thrive. I feel my best fit is with a family with one infant located in Peoria, El Mirage, Surprise or Glendale areas. I am available to start inlay the beginning of April. I am comfortable with dogs, cats and other pets. I am happy to prepare child meals, help with light housework and overall provide exceptional care for your child. I have my own reliable means of transportation to and from work. I am fully vaccinated, boosted and continue to practice safe COVID practices. I gave birth to my daughter in March of 2022. She will need to accompany me to work on the days my husband works. In my free time, I like to travel, mainly visiting National Parks and finding the best bakery in the area. I look forward to getting to know you and your child! Please reach out if you have any questions. If you think I may be a good fit, please call or email me so we can find a time to speak.
