My care-giving skills began by working with children during vacation bible school and spending a few weeks, in two separate years, in Haiti caring for children in an orphanage. These opportunities came about through my schooling. Outside of school, I began babysitting at age 12. Primarily I cared for children of families from the church I attended in my grade school and high school years. I greatly enjoy spending time with and caring for children. Most recently, I have been employed at a few separate childcare facilities here in the Moscow/Pullman area, but had to take a break from working to complete my spring semester in college. And, although I have haven't been working full time, I have continued sitting children off and on by request for several local families.
