I am a mother of four daughters. My first born daughter is a teacher, second daughter is in medical school and the two younger daughters are currently enrolled at the U of A. Having raised four daughters I feel I have 25 years of experience. While caring for my daughters during grade school, I was also an after school nanny for two boys aged 7 and 9 years at the time. I cared for them for two years. Prior, I was a caretaker for my mother's post-stroke care. She had physical limitations due to her disease and due to my background in physical therapy assistance, I was able to help her rehabilitate and maintain a normal lifestyle. Later on I was a teacher's assistant in the Sunnyside School District at the elementary level. I worked in classrooms, monitored the lunch room and recess time for three years. I then took Read more time off to be a stay-at-home mom to provide greater support to my daughter's while learning to adjust to high school.
