Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m currently a pre-nursing student at Pima Community College taking online classes and looking for a job to support me during school. My husband and I have been living in Tucson for almost a year now; we moved here from Florida for his job last October right after we graduated and got married. As far as my experience goes with kids - I love kids and have worked with them as a babysitter few times, but mainly through being a tutor for kids ages k-12 and being a conference assistant at UCF where I ensured the safety of minors for the entire summer and created a fun, safe environment for them to stay. As far as my goals currently, I graduated with my Bachelor’s in environmental engineering last spring, worked in the industry for a year and decided it wasn’t for me; I am so passionate about helping others, so I’ve decided to apply for the MEPN-MSN Nursing program at the University of Arizona! However, I am taking some pre-requisites this fall and spring. I would love a part-time job where I can continue caring for kids and be a blessing to a family in need of some help!
