I worked as a nanny in CA when I was age 18-22. I am now 41. I also have recently worked in the Early Head Start Program in Morristown, AZ through Edu Staff as a substitute this last month. I have a BSW from ASU. I am looking for work close to Wickenburg and plan on being a certified substitute this next school year. I live in Wickenburg with my husband of 11 years and our 4 dogs that are rescues. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Currently my husband and I purchased a home on 5 acres and put horse structures up to board and take care of horses in the next roping season. We both enjoy the outdoors and love living in the country. When I was a nanny in the past I enjoyed taking the children I worked with out in nature. I also enjoyed Read more teaching them how to cook and other fun activities around the home. The Early Head Start Program in Morristown Nadarburg Preschool is a very fun environment for children 0-3 learn about social interaction with their peer group. I really enjoy working with toddlers because they are so curious about everything. It is also fun to teach them their colors, potty training, and just socialization in general. It always amazes me how fast they pick up on things! I said earlier that I have a bachelors degree in social work. I find that social work encompasses a broad range of social interaction and human services. I always gravitated toward social work in my jobs and I was fortunate to finish my degree locally here in Arizona. During this time in my life I am looking forward to working some different positions and mix things up a bit with my love for working with children, animals, and the aging population. I also enjoy thrifting and creating art out of found items. One of my big passions right now is working with cactus and rescuing old pots to repot my cactus. I am hoping on turning my love for cactus into a side business and sell at the local farmer's market. I find many of my pots at garage and yard sales, thrift stores, and sometimes online. As a child I grew up in Eastern Idaho and my mother owned her own childcare center and preschool. I would help out in the afternoons after school when I was in high school and also babysat in the summer around 5 children on my own. It was always a rewarding fun experience and I really enjoyed the children.
