Hi! A little about myself, my name is Claudia and I am from Albany, CA. I speak three languages: English, Spanish, and some Portuguese. I have a BA degree in Psychology from California State University - Northridge. After graduating in 2013, I worked as an after school lead teacher for the YMCA program. In 2014 I moved to Spain/Portugal to teach English for 4 years along with part time family assistant/nanny throughout those years. In those four years I worked with kids from ages 5-20. In 2018 I moved back to the USA and I began working as a Behavioral Therapist and am currently working as an Education Specialist/case manager. As an Education Specialist I create lesson plans for grades K-3 and teach both ELA and Math subjects. I am in charge of creating individual schedules for each student and staff in the classroom, student assessments, collaborating with general education Read more teachers, school psychologist, occupational therapists and speech language pathologist. I am in constant communication with all parents, outside resources and my supervisor. I write each student individual education plans and goals which I update and keep track of. Along with being an education specialist I was previously a part time nanny for 4 years (child was 11 when I started is now 15) and part time Family Assistant where I do a variety of tasks such as cooking for the family, grocery shopping, light laundry, picking up kids from school, managing kids schedules and taking them to after school activities. I am a very organized, fun and caring person. I love to travel, hike, bike, and spend time with my family. I hope with my skills that I have acquired throughout the years I can help the family out in any way I can! I can provide references upon request! Hope to hear from you, Claudia
