I chose to become a caregiver because I have always been a very empathetic and compassionate person with a love for caring for others. I am a 2nd year biology student at UCSB and have a vast past of babysitting and nannying for families with a range of children and animals. I have always had a love for children and helping others so babysitting/nannying has always come natural to me. Watching over another families children feels like the furthest thing from "work." I would love the opportunity to help and take care of a family as if it were my own.
