I wrote the below bio about 10 years ago but it's an accurate background so I figured I'd leave it. Since then, I nannied a 1 and 3 year old for about a year, helped my family with business and I moved to China for a few years to teach English Ages 2-6. I have been back in CA since 2020. I am CPR certified. 2012 Bio: I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old. When I started I helped with family friends and family. I have a large family 7 siblings and 12 nieces and nephews and even 1 great nephew which means I am around children a lot. I have taught violin to beginning students ages 7-13. I enjoy interacting with kids from physical activity to hands on learning such as crafts and reading. For the past year and a half I have cared for 3 girls, ages 2, 5 and 9. I took the oldest to and from school and helped with homework after school. I took the little ones to the park, zoo, dance classes, swimming, the beach and the library. Before that I was a nanny for a boy from age 1-4. We also did many activities; museums, zoo, parks, library, gymnastics classes, swim classes and many other trips. I also helped teach him how to swim when he was too advanced for his age group at YMCA. I also cared for him over a weekend. I have multiple references. A little more about me. Abigail has been babysitting for us for almost two months. She is great with our 15 month old. Not only does she play with him, but she helps him learn his shapes, colors, etc. When the weather permits, she takes him outside for some fresh air. She is sweet, firm, and consistent, and works with us to best meet our child's needs. Our son smiles every time she shows up to watch him. She is a real asset to our family.
