edit Edit I first fell in love with caregiving when one of the children I used to care for put on my shoes and jacket (with the help of her two brothers) and exclaimed that she was trying to grow up to be like me. Since that moment, caregiving has been one of my greatest strengths and greatest joys in life. I was a babysitter and nanny to those three wonderful children (which later became four) for over six years. I played a big role in their lives, whether I was creating outdoor activities, helping with homework, driving them to activities, teaching them about kindness, or planning day trips to the museum or beach during my time as their nanny. I've been a caregiver for over seven years and have worked for several families in both short- and long-term positions. I have helped teach developmentally disabled children in an inclusive Read more pre-school classroom, served as a pre-school teaching assistant at my local church and worked as a camp counselor at a YMCA camp for girls. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University ('18) where I took several child development courses. I'm also First Aid, CPR and AED certified.
