I am a 22 year female and I am very interested in this position. I currently live in La Verne and have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. My history: I worked as a Teacher's Aide for 2.5 years at the Children's Center at California State University of Fullerton. As a teacher's aide we focus on play base learning and social-emotional development. At the center I worked in three different infant/toddler classes ages 0-1, 1-2, and 2-3. Since I was in the infant toddler classes I know the importance of routines and also being active when playing. My favorite age to work with during my time at the center was infants. I learned so much about development at the infant age and how to care for infants such as changing diapers, napping, and making bottles. Outside of my classroom experience I was also a nanny for my niece (5) Read more and nephew (3) since they were born. I was able to create my own activities along with utilize the skills I gained throughout my years of experience.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
