Hi, I’m Alex and here is a little bit about me! I am originally from Los Angeles, CA, but I moved to New York last September. I graduated from Indiana University in 2021, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Following graduation, I was employed for a year at a public school in Los Angeles, where I worked 1:1 with a special needs high school student. On top of this, I also worked after-school hours and babysat for a local family, who had two children (ages 3 and 4). Upon moving to New York, I began obtaining my RBT certificate and started babysitting for a local family in Greenpoint, who had two children (ages 1.5 and 4). I am currently employed at a special needs private school in Manhattan, where I work full-time in a classroom using ABA methodologies. The children I currently work with are 7-10 years old. Read more My employment and babysitting experiences have provided me with an array of skills including: meal prepping, changing diapers, reinforcing bed-time routines, building and following schedules, creating both educational and play activities, and making sure the child Is safe and happy.
