Hi! My name is Aleya. I’m a recent graduate from California State University, Northridge, with a B.A. in Deaf Studies. I’m fluent in American Sign Language and have a deep passion for sign language interpretation, inclusion, and equality. I currently work at a preschool where I care for both deaf and hearing children ages 11 months to 5 years old — and I truly love working with kids! Seeing them learn, grow, and express themselves brings me so much joy. I always aim to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, spending time at the beach, and making memories with my loved ones. I’m CPR+First Aid certified, responsible, organized, and would love to bring my positivity, creativity, and genuine love for children to your family!
