Hi! My name is Eliyana. I have 8+ years of experience taking care of children aged 1-12. I'm about to graduate from UC Santa Barbara, which means that I have to say goodbye to a family I've been looking after since August 2020. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I spent 20 hrs/week supervising remote-instruction for a 5 year old boy and his 8 year old sister. My duties have evolved to include summer activities, camp/school pick-up and drop-off, and occasionally night-sitting. They have grown so much over the past two years, and it's been my great joy to know them! As a former camp counselor, I love organizing different activities to keep kids engaged. I especially enjoy facilitating arts&crafts projects. I'm energetic when it counts, but I have a very calming presence when kids are working through big emotions.
