I graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Mills College on a full scholarship. I am working as a part-time community health worker while preparing to attend Medical school in the Fall of 2024. I am looking to be educated overseas in a Spanish-speaking country where I will learn about medicine in Spanish. I plan to become a specialist in OBGYN health. Previously, I taught at bilingual schools with the after-school science program Sarah Science, held several babysitting/nanny gigs throughout college, and tutored children at Light House Community Charter. We’ve worked with Kayla twice now and have had a great experience both times. Our 7.5 year old son requires extra patience and support and Kayla has stepped into that with curiosity, skill and creativity. She has been timely, communicative and conscientious about the different needs and preferences that each family and child may need. We look forward to having her spend time with our son again soon!
