Meet Jed

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

My greatest strengths as a caretaker are patience, empathy and emotional intelligence. I genuinely enjoy helping kids move through their days, so the job comes naturally. I'm a good cook, and good at cleaning, and have real eye for detail. I also love teaching, and playing games, and am very good at foreseeing problems and keeping those under my care safe. After years of study I know a lot about both physical, and emotional health, which allows me to help people of all ages. I'm also very comfortable working with children who are struggling in aspects of their lives. I have worked with children who have been characterized as having emotional and behavioral problems; and have been able to have great relationships with them and help guide them to more constructive habits.

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
