Hello, everyone! My name is Iliana Arick-Harvey. I was born and raised in West LA, and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology. I am warm, engaging, reliable, trustworthy, and organized. I genuinely love being around and interacting with kids. Growing up with younger a step-brother, many cousins, and neighborhood kids, my adoration for children and interest in childcare started at a young age—precisely at 11 years-old, when I was finally old enough to get my babysitting and CPR certification from the American Red Cross. Since then, I’ve worked with children of all ages— I’ve babysat kids from 11 month-olds to those in their preteen years, worked as a Jr. Pool Lifeguard in assisting swim lessons to 5 to 8 year-olds, taught private swim lessons, and volunteered in Costa Rica as an English teacher to elementary-school kids.
