Working with children has always been a strength of mine! I enjoy being a part of a child’s life experience while also being able to have fun with whatever age I work with. I first gained my experience helping out with my younger sister, who is 11 years younger than me. I then began babysitting in college, which turned into nanny roles. I’ve been a nanny to three different families, and have been with my most recent family for three years. I have watched over almost every age ranging from 6 months to 12 years. I recently graduated with my masters degree in clinical psychology this early May and love the topic of child development. From that field and my experience in child care, I have learned to be more patient, empathetic, and understanding of those I work with.
