I recently relocated to Calistoga, CA. Prior to our move from PA I served as a nanny for two doctors' families one of whom was my doctor who was searching for a nanny/housekeeper over two years ago. Dr. Reynold's suggested that I call his wife Deborah and meet with her, and when we met she asked when I could begin working-which was immediately. Inasmuch as Dr. Reynold's wife Deborah was a working attorney my responsibilities initially were caring for the three children, their home, meals, garden help, and whatever was necessary to keep their home running smoothly. I oversaw the care of their two daughters and one son. Evelyn is presently 9, Scarlet is 7 and Declan is 3. At times it was necessary to transport the children from school to home, or to an activity for which I was compensated for additional mileage in traveling by car. When Deborah Read more cut back on her working hours I was asked by another doctor if I could assist them as their nanny. with Deb's blessing I met with Dr. Deepa Kuchelan and her husband Sasikumar Venktakaswamy who have two boys-presently 9 and 6. After a short time caring for the boys I was asked to also help with the housekeeping as Dr. Kuchelan was part of a fellowship in a sub specialty in Pulmonology studying in Virginia. Because of my husband's health we relocated to a warmer climate. We chose Calistoga because two of our five children live in CA-one daugther in San Francisco with her husband Dr. Deepak Sampath (who also have a country home in Mr. St. Helena ten minutes from us), and our youngest daughter Diana Nepsha who lives in Oakland. I am trained in pediatric CPR and first aid. I have references from both the Reynolds' and Venktakaswamy families, respectively. Part of my experience in the workforce was as a legal secretary, however when my husband took ill I began a housekeeping business, and at different intervals throughout my life I have cared for other children as well. I worked for many years as a volunteer within my childrens' school, was actively involved in fund raising, and also coached soccer-my favorite sport. If the position for your nanny is still available I would appreciate your considering me to oversee the care of your little boy. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Respectfully, Elaine R. Nepsha
