I was a teacher for 20 years and have been a full time nanny and tutor for the last 22 years. I have worked with children that have been diagnosed with a form of Autism in addition to taking care of a 4 pound preemie that was colicky and had special medical needs. I  have experience tutoring children with A.D.H.D and have worked with very active 16 month old twins.  I am physically fit, very active and have an overabundance amount of energy. With my background experience, there is no challenging situation that I cannot master. I am registered with some of the top nanny agencies in San Diego and Orange County. They have performed a full extensive background check and I am registered with Trustline and Live Scan.  I am also C.P.R. and First Aid certified and have been for the last 25 years. Hi my name is Ashley! I have 16+ years experience with children of all Ages. I have my CPR/AED& FIRST AIDE CERTIFICATE. I started out as a babysitter at 14 and got a job at TLC, an after school daycare program and was working there at the age of 16. We would take the children during the summer to amusement parks like wild rivers, Knottsberry farm, Sea world, Disneyland, movie theaters and etc... so it was a lot of patience and responsibility to make sure they were safe and having fun at the same time. I absolutely loved it . After working at TLC I was offered a nanny job by one of the parents. I watched the children for a while and then they grew up like all children do hehehe I then went on to nanny after that for a three and six-year-old and just kept being a nanny. I eventually started working at Us Too Gymnasitcs for a couple of years. It is a non-profit Organization working with children that have special needs and children without any special needs.. the ages range from1& a half all the ways to 23 years old. We worked on behavior, taking turns, helping children that are non-verbal speak and we do a lot there and the parents instead of calling it an actual gym they call it a gem... so sweet. I also work as Respite care taker for special needs but the hours are on my terms. I am looking mostly for a Full-time position as a nanny or also it could be maybe 2 part-time jobs.
