I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kaitlin Winters and I am a 22 year old Chula Vista native, but have just completed my Bachelors at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo! I have my degree in Liberal Studies so I hope to one day become a elementary school teacher ( I will be starting SDSU's credential program in Fall of of 2017). I have four years experience in early childhood education studies, and have worked one-on-one with children of all ages and needs. In addition, I have babysat for various families both in San Diego and in San Luis Obispo since I was 12 years old. I love being outside and going on adventures which was why I was a Girl Scout for 13 years where I served as a camp instructional leader for many Girl Scout encampments. Through those experiences I have acquired a plethora of Read more activities and games and that are both fun and educational. I also participated in a learn by doing science lab during my time at Cal Poly, where I taught interactive hands on science lessons for grade 5-8, so if any of the children are interested in science I would be more than happy to do those activities as well. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I don t mind doing extra duties for you, like cleaning and I love cooking! I am insured to drive and I do have a reliable form of a transportation for pick up and drop off if needed ( a 2013 Kia Soul). I am also CPR and First Aid certified through the American Heart Association. My hours of availability are extremely flexible as well incase your schedule changes, I will accommodate to you.
