Excited to work as a professional Nanny, I have 8 years of experience working with newborns and toddlers and school age kids. I am a reliable and responsible sweet nanny that loves teaching, encouraging, and interacting with kids. I love cooking and integrating a healthy lifestyle for children. Grew up in Pasadena, California, and later studied and acquired an associate degree from Azuza Pacific University in Liberal Arts. I then worked for Azusa Pacific University in their Special Education Department where I learned a lot about working with children mild to moderate to severe disabilities in the university’s community based educational endeavors. Most of this career was founded on translating important school experiences from child to parent and understanding the families’ educational needs. However, it was through this job that I decided that what I enjoyed most about the career was working closely with families on their children’s development. This Read more led me to a career in childcare which gives me a more flexible work life balance. I pride myself on being kind and caring yet firm if there is a need. I have excellent communication skills, I am computer savvy, and I can manage a household with busy schedules. I have been married for 25 years, me and my husband have three daughters who are now in college. My eldest is studying to become a commercial airplane pilot, my middle child is studying to become a screen writer and youngest is starting college and desires to be a psychologist. I raised girls that have confidence, that know they are very capable, they all have discipline, and are very compassionate, and creative. I have most recently worked with the Juarez family for 8 years helping with the care of their two children. I was able to assist the parents in tackling their busy career schedules by being sure to support their progress in the home and ensuring their children’s development was upkept while they are away.
