I started out my 13 years of experience with children as a 12 year old watching after a 4 years old, a 2 year old, and two twin six months old babies. This regular babysitting job had me learning on the spot! But boy did I learn and fast! After this experience I began to regularly babysit for families in my neighborhood. Then I linked up with families I made connections with through working with children at the Monument Crisis Center, on Ygnacio Woods Swim Team, at Studio One Art Center, at Little Swimmer Swim School, and where I currently work as a Montessori PreSchool Teacher in Lafayette. I have taken all but one class to have my associates in Child Development, as well as having a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education from SFSU. I am currently looking for families that are looking not only Read more for a babysitter but for a new addition to the family! When I babysit for a family I treat them as if they were my own and hope to build a long lasting relationship that allows me to watch the children grow up. I am looking for new families because unfortunately a lot of the families that I have babysat for now have children that are old enough to watch themselves.
