I have over 20 years experience working with children of all ages. I am currently seeking part-time employment as I will be returning to school this summer. I plan on getting an education degree to continue working with children, though in a different capacity. I have worked as a Nanny, a Babysitter, and CNA. I feel that imagination is the cornerstone of personal growth, so I focus on age-appropriate games, building forts, using our imagination, finger painting, and general silliness. Playtime includes trips to the park, play-groups, the Read more pool, and the library for story time. I prefer to follow a schedule that parents are able to rely on. It always amazes me how children respond to the world! They always tend to bring some sort of interesting perspective into almost any situation that the average adult would just see as normal or everyday routine. I have experience in many areas including: Newborn care, using Breast milk & Formula, using Cloth & Disposable diapers, Baby Massage, Swaddling, Bathing, Feeding, Baby-wearing, Potty Training, Learning to Read, Math, Write, Yoga, Playing with children actively, etc. I feel blessed for the experiences I have had.
