Meet Marjorie

My name is Marjorie, I’m 31 years old and I am from Sao Paulo, one of the most populous cities here in Brazil. I am a pretty positive person trying to see the best side of the things and I’m very responsible and dedicated. Now I’m going to talk a little about my experience with children. In 2009 I started I worked in Children’s Buffet for about three years. I used to play games, do the snack time, I paint their faces or hands and I do what the children wanted to do for fun. 
I also took care of my friend’s daughter Maria Eduarda on the weekends during one year when she was 2. She is a very cute, beautiful and smart child. I took care of Nicole too, my other friend’s sister and very cute girl, on the weekends when she was 4. During the week, for 6 Read more months, I took care of my friend’s brother Enzo, a pretty and smart little boy, since he was 3 years old. In my experience with children, I used to take care of their hygiene, help them in the bathroom, help to take a nap, cook for them and play a lot.
Normally, on vacation, my cousin Fernanda comes to my house since she was 4 years old. I used to prepare all her meals and everything she needs. We play games, dance, draw and take her youngest sister Raphaela to the park.
I also worked as an Aupair in the USA for 2 years, taking care of three amazing teenagers (Haaris 16 years old, Hamza 14 years old, Maryam 12 years old), working as a team with the parents in order to improve children’s development. Taking them to school and extra activities, preparing their meals and helping them during homework and school activities, ensuring the health and safety of the children are maintained at all times. In 2021 I also had the opportunity to work for Disney Cruise Line as a fairy godmother in training in Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and it was such a great experience living and working onboard on a cruise ship. This experience made me grow a lot more this year and made think a lot about my expectations and plans for the future. I also worked from January 2023 till may 2023 in Princeton, New Jersey, taking care of a 4 months old girls and two boys, 4 and 6 years old. I was responsible for all the chores related to the kids, including preparing the meals, organize the bedrooms, taking them to activities and picking up at school. They’re amazing but since I was gonna study in Los Angeles I had to leave them and move to California. Since I got in California I had the opportunity to work with an amazing family in Orange County who has 2 beautiful girls, 2 months old an 1 year old, for 4 months and do some ocasional extras for them. So I’m looking for an opportunity to improve my English, my experience and grow even more as a person. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
