I've served as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children of various ages and backgrounds (including children with special needs and allergies) for the past eight years. I maintain a Bachelor's Degree in English: Creative Writing, as well as three Associate's Degrees: Psychology, Child Development, and Liberal Arts and Sciences. My education has allowed me to be a successful tutor and teacher to children and people of any age. I also hold a CPR/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. In my years of being a nanny, I have learned how to establish strong relationships with children, to help guide and mold them into the wonderful people they are meant to be. My experience as a nanny includes: caring for children (ages 3 months- 16 years) in all forms of health and wellness (meal planning, hygiene, exercise), tutoring and assisting with school projects and extra curricular activities, reading Read more and writing, arts and crafts, housework, laundry, and errands (grocery shopping, dropping children off at school). I strongly encourage getting outside, music and dance, exploring nature, and staying active-- I find joy in doing outdoor activities with children (whether it be the park, beach, pool, etc.). I also make it a point to read with all children and have them read to me. My goal is to help every child learn efficient communication skills, creative joy, and to have a strong sense of self worth.
