Hello! I am a recent UC Davis graduate with both a Dramatic Arts and Film Studies degree. I have taken some time away from babysitting during my years as a student, but I am excited to work in childcare again! I am an actor with loads of energy that loves to run around and entertain children. I am also a hard worker, and as school is very important to me, I can always help wherever the children need. I am very responsible and love being super organized. I also extremely enjoy cooking and practicing healthy eating habits for children. I am a non-smoker and have a clean driving record. I am also the owner of an adorable dog named Chibs, and work well with all types of animals. I have spent the last two months living in Bogotá, Colombia, so even though I am not fluent in Spanish, I know Read more the basics and can hold a conversation. Although I have only worked with a couple families, my experience with children ranges. I began babysitting for a few months with a newborn named Taylor when I lived in Arizona. Later, while attending high school in Palo Alto, I babysat for my AP Psychology teacher's three children for almost a year. The eldest was Garett (8), and then two twins Devin and Sarah (5). Aside from babysitting, I have worked with children in differing professional environments. I have assisted my elder sister in her classroom of second-grade students. My help ranged from organizing the children for their first week in school all the way to activities inside the classroom. While getting my degree in theatre at UCD, I worked with children on three different productions. During the performance of “The Grapes of Wrath” at UCD, I was in charge wardrobe and dressing for 4 children in the production (two girls and two boys). Later, I worked at Sacramento’s Music Circus in the production of “South Pacific” doing wardrobe and being a dresser for the two child actors (one girl and one boy). Finally, I worked on properties and stage management for the Davis Shakespeare Ensemble’s child production of “The Tempest” performed by twenty children. Most recently, I have enjoyed being a mentor for a young teenager at the Davis Waldorf School in the category of film studies. As an actor and theatre practitioner, I love working with children that match my high energy and are willing to dive into their imagination with me!
