Hi! I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where I received a degree in Drama. I'm here because I love children and am looking to work with them more! I want to do this because young people remind me how to have fun and continue to learn and grow. Children are amazing in that they are in a constant state of learning, taking in the environment and people around them, and finding new things to do with that information. My emphasis on the arts means your child(ren) will always have a creative outlet when I am around. I am primarily a theatre educator and therefore have lots of games and crafts I love to share with young people. My work as a director and experience with improv and youth theatre means I have lots of fun games we can play together, or even create our own! As Read more a scenic designer and properties master, I've gained specific knowledge of arts and different types of crafts young people love to do. Theatre also means I have experience with dance and music, so no matter if your child is interested in acting, building, art, dancing, singing, or musical instruments, I have the knowledge and experience to help them even more. While I know the significance of the arts, I also know leading a healthy lifestyle and thriving academically are equally important. Theatre games can keep children quite active, but I am also always happy to play and encourage sports and outdoor games with children as well. Baseball is my favorite, and I love a day at the pool or beach! I have also worked as a tutor for elementary aged children, and through both this job and directing teens, I have developed excellent communication skills that help break down difficult ideas and complicated subjects into smaller parts that help children understand. I can analyze ideas and situation through multiple lenses so that if at first your child doesn't understand, I can reconfigure academic concepts many different ways until we find one that they do. I love doing homework help!
