A little bit about me, I am 24 years old and I have been a caregiver for about 2 years and a nanny for 2 years. The first 2 years I worked at an adult residential home for adults with special needs. I assisted them in their daily needs and accompanied them in activities that they enjoyed. For another 2 years I was a nanny for a young man with autism. I had the privilege of working alongside ABA therapists with the young man to help him learn the skills that would help him live a more independent life. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience getting to witness all the progress that he made and getting to share his milestones with his parents. I was also a temporary yard duty at a charter school where I supervised kids k-6 at recess. I really enjoyed my time engaging with the Read more kids while also making sure they were playing safely. For the safety of everyone I look after I am Cpr and First Aid certified. I would love to tell you more about my experiences as a caregiver!
