My name is Michaela and I've been caring for children for around eight years now. I've had a few different long-term experiences with childcare but the most important, in my opinion, was the assistance I provided in raising my younger sister when my mother, a former police officer, was injured on the job and has since medically retired. I love doing arts and crafts as well as reading and playing with children and engaging in outdoor activities. I participated in a military youth group through most of high school and have been swim qualified by the US Navy for all you parents with water lovers! I am a non-smoker and very comfortable with pets, household duties, chores, cooking, running errands, homework help, and picking up kids! I have taken child development classes and am food and safety certified. I have been CPR and first aid certified in the past and although those have since expired I would be more than willing to get recertified pending a serious job offer.
