I’m currently teaching preschool full time. I love my job very much but, they are not willing to be flexible with my schedule so I can return to school to further my education. The ideal position for me would be part time (20 or so hours a week) with full time hours during the summer. In addition to my experience teaching preschool, I have been a loving nanny as well as a swim instructor/ lifeguard. I have successfully built relationships with my parents in support of their child’s specific needs whether in the pool or in the classroom. I’d like the opportunity to tell you more about my work experience and how my skill set could contribute to your family. We did not interview her but during email discussions she is very rude and unprofessional. From Julie Scott, Believe me when I say I take pride in my professionalism, but for you to ask for an interview on a Friday night is a little absurd. I think it is important for a nany to respect and cater to the family they are working for however Families should also remember that nannies have life's of their own outside of their duties. Do you agree? To: Julie Did you mean to come off that unprofessional? From: Julie Woods Hi Scott, I would also like a chance to meet, but Friday at 7pm?? Really? Can you do Thursday or maybe a phone interview on Friday? Otherwise we can try to make next week work. Thanks! Julie Woods May 04 From: Scott C. We would love to sit down and talk with you. What does Friday at 7pm look like to you? We live in Mira Mesa.
