Hello family! My name is Kathleen. I have a passion for working with kids and it never feels like a job! I have over 10 years of experience working with children ages infant through middle school through babysitting, as a nanny, day camp counselor, or other childcare experiences. For the last 4 years, I have been teaching preschool at a play-based school for children 2 to 5-year-olds (mostly for 4&5s). My goal is to keep the children active and engaged. Whether that means we are building with train tracks, playing dress-up or creating our own imaginative game, singing and dancing around the house, doing an arts and craft projects, running around at the park, playing outside with bubbles or chalk, going for a walk or bike ride, or reading books. My prior job responsibilities have included: school drop off/pick up, feeding a healthy snack and dinner, driving for extracurricular activities, Read more homework help, planning and coordinating outings, planning crafts, and watching kids at the water park/pool, and household chores (directly related to the children). During COVID, I am looking for a family that is social distancing and taking precautions. I am available Monday to Friday through December 2020.
