I love working with Children which is why I became a career Nanny. I have been a full time Nanny for 5 years and I have had the privilege to care for many children ranging in age from 3 months to 10 years old. While I am in a Families home I am responsible for the childrens care, safety and developmental growth. When there are pets in the home I also take care of them and make sure all their needs are met. Caring for children in their home requires constant cleaning, tiding up and laundry, all of which I am well prepared to manage. I consider a child's safety to be my number one priority. I have been a certified EMT in the past and I am currently First Aid/ CPR/AED certified by the American Red Cross. All outings, visitors and application of medication (if needed) are first approved by one or both parents. I personally feel that creative play and fun is a very important of a child's development. I have experience taking children on outings such as Disneyland, the zoo, libraries, museums and playgrounds. For smaller children who are not ready for big outings I enjoy taking them on walks, playing around the home and reading picture books.
